Dr. Janice Lindsay-Hartz retired on May 15, 2015. She provided psychotherapy, counseling, supervision and consultation, and training in mindfulness meditation. She was skilled in a variety of treatment approaches and tailored treatment to each person's needs. Her treatment approaches included: in-depth psychoanalytic
(psychodynamic) therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral psychotherapy, couples therapy, play therapy, developmental play therapy, and mind-body approaches.
Dr. Lindsay-Hartz taught Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an 8-week course in mindfulness meditation, developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
